Lord Ahmed, who has been advocating Pakistan's case at every forum in Britain. He commands great respect among the British Muslims, specially in the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in England. Equally he has great respect among 140 millions Brother and Sister Pakistanis living in Pakistan!

At times, Lord Ahmed has reacted the against mass labelling the muslims as 'terrorist' and rebuked far and wide. He argued the facts behind such claims had to be established for the "British Muslims' sakes". That illustrated his concern that whole communities were being misguided by the vested interests.
Such damaging labels were also displayed when he led calls for a new law against religious discrimination in 1999. The factor has brought Lord Ahmed in to media spotlight, the world over beside he garnered great respect of the Muslims across the continents.
Since being made a peer in 1998, he has been fully onside with the government on other issues.

Since the year 1992, Lord Ahmed's impact on the British political scenerio has reached high and beyond anyone's comprehensions. He founded the British Muslim Councillors' Forum.
