We could not thank you enough
We could not thank you enough as yet for all the supports and the contributions that you have already made to the earthquake relief fund.
We would simply state here that our Brothers and Sisters -The World Pakistanis are extra-ordinary people! When it comes to ranking someone in terms of patriotism, loyalty and the love with their Motherland, they excelled everyone in the world! Simply, the quantum of their monitory support towards the Disaster Relief Fund has exceeded the combination of loans and grants of several States! At the same time their prayers to the Almighty Allah, begging grant of His Mercy for our land and the people were just countless!
However the need still continues and we urge you to continue supporting relief works being carried out in the devastated areas in Pakistan.
The Earth Quake that wrecked our lands has left a trail of destruction hitherto unseen in this part of the world. More then 70,000 people dead and still counting, hundreds of thousands injured and literally millions left shelter less in the biting, sub zero cold. The magnitude of the calamity can be gauged not so much by the acres of rubble that stretch as far as the eyes can see, but rather by the stench of unburied bodies that hits the visitor with near physical force miles before he even enters the affected areas.
The people and authorities are doing their best, but the sheer scale of the disaster has dwarfed all their efforts. If the affected people are to survive, they desperately need help. President's Earthquake Relief Fund To provide relief to the affecters of the earthquake, the Government has established the "President's Relief Fund for Earthquake Victims 2005".
